Saona Island Deluxe with Private Transfer (Min 8 People) 

Our day begins with an early pick up directly from your hotel in Punta Cana. This tour offers private land transportation, which means your group will be the only one to be picked up and transfered directly to Bayahibe without passing through other hotels.

We will begin our journey towards Bayahibe, where a beautiful catamaran awaits us to take us to the island of Saona. The journey from Punta Cana to Bayahibe takes about an hour along the highway and from the window we can observe and admire the lush greenery vegetation rich in orchards and sugar cane plantations.

Once in Bayahibe we will take advantage of the first big difference of this excursion compared to the others that go to Saona. In fact, instead of reaching the crowded and chaotic public beach, we will enter the 5-star resort Viva Windham to reach our private beach and private pier and, without delays and loss of time, we will board the catamaran and join the other customers. Remember the catamaran can host round 60 people, so the tour is usually crowded.

Get ready for an incredible 2 hours cruise along the scenic route till reaching the paradisiacal island of Saona. The catamarán is comfortable and brand-new and offers the possibility to sit in the shade and in the sun. Music, rum drinks and the staff animation will ensure a great atmosphere on board during the whole ride.

On the way to Saona we will stop to the renowned natural pool of Palmillas, a shallow area with crystal clear turquoise water (this is the largest Natural Pool in the entire area, with a dimension of several square kilometers and only 4 feet deep). Here we will spend some time enjoying a bath, making a toast with cola & rum, and taking photos with the giant starfishes.

Once back on board the catamaran we will continue our cruise. We will cross the Catuano channel which divides the island of Saona from that of Hispaniola and finally we will reach our destination: the paradisiacal island of Saona. Another advantage of this excursion is that we will stay on one of the most beautiful beaches that the island offers: the private beach of the Viva Windham hotel, called Playa Viva. We will reach the shore and after a walk of about 10 minutes in the vegetation, we will reach our beach.

It is a complete and exclusive beach club, owned by the Viva Windham resort, with all the facilities that a 5-star hotel can give you: bedchairs, clean toilets, showers, a beach volley court and even a lifeguard. The beach is clean and cared for, with white sands and crystal clear sea. But the highlight of this excursion is undoubtedly the buffet. It is a real hotel buffet with hot and cold dishes, including grilled meat and fish, seafood pasta, salads, vegetables, fruit and even typical dessert and coffee at the end of the lunch.

We will stay almost 3 hours in this corner of paradise. If you want to snorkel you can bring your own equipment and enjoy the Caribbean sea. Around 3:00PM in the afternoon is time to leave the island and return to the embarkation point. We will board a spacious speedboat and begin our high-speed ride to Bayahibe, full of fun and adrenaline.

Around 4:00PM we will return in Bayahibe where our transportation will be waiting for us to take us back to our hotel in Punta Cana full of unforgettable memories and beautiful photos.

• This tour is not indicated for pregnant women and people with back problems.
• For hotels in Uvero Alto, Cap Cana and close to the airport we require 10 USD extra per person due to the distance.

In case a customer after booking a tour wants to cancel or is not more able to take part on it we will provide the full refund directly on the card used for the online reservation if the cancellation is required BY EMAIL within 24 hours before the starting of the tour.

Cancellation must be required BY EMAIL, (or by text in case) in order to have a written proof showing the exact date and time the customer asks to cancel. We will not accept cancellations by phone.

If the cancellation is required less than 24 hours before the starting of the tour due to any reasons (such as illness, change of personal circumstancesm, etc) and the customer is not able to reschedule, we will keep the deposit paid in advance or the 50% of the total price if the customers has paid in full.

In case the tour itself is cancelled due to weather conditions or other not ordinary reasons, the customer can choose if reschedule the tour or receive the full refund.

This policy DOES NOT apply for large groups of 10+ people where the cancellation is required at least a week in advance to get the full refund.
